The Zest online riddle, what a mind boggling experience.  So, it's been a couple of years since I last took a crack at this.  Almost a hundred levels, twisting your thought process in different way.  I think I got to level 10 before putting it on hiatus, and sadly I had forgotten about till today, so I'm here to share with you.  At first I thought the site was gone, but then I learned that they just moved to a different server, however the url's are messed up so it took me a little fiddling, but I got to the riddle.

The concept is fairly simple, on each page you are given an image, usually some text below it as a "hint" and you can view the page source for an additional hint.  You must change the text in the URL to progress to the next level (example:  www.nate.com/one.htm  to  www.nate.com/two.htm) using the answer of that page's riddle, even if you enter the wrong word you may get a page with another hint.  Sometimes it lies in the picture, somtimes it lies within the text (remember to check the page source!), you may even need to play with the image a bit.  All that and creepy music plays along with it (no sound here at work so I can't say that it's still there for sure).

Wanna give it a go?

It has, indeed, been a long time since I last posted on LJ.  It's not that I don't enjoy spilling my thoughts onto the keyboard; I just find that I really don't set aside time for it.  The only time I really have is when I'm at work, during the slow times (like tonight).  The reason for not posting in LJ any other time is because when I get home and hop onto the computer I almost automatically log into WoW.   I will most definitely have to put in more of an effort to post more often.

Speaking of WoW, my responsibilities in my alliance guild have increased quite a bit.  Me being second in command of the guild and him simply not logging on nearly as much as he used to (we're talking like once a week... maybe).  I love my guild and have no problems partially running it, but what stinks is it takes me away from leveling my horde character on  [personal profile] dragonoflife and [personal profile] tigerphoenix's server.  I would love nothing but to catch up with them and do some raiding, just gotta make more time I guess.

This will be raid number 4 for me, headed back into Karazhan, and I must say, I am actually quite enjoying the experience.  Something about a large group working together to proceed.  The is an obvious "jump" in difficulty from instances; mobs are bigger and hit harder.  Most bosses in instances can just be "tanked and spanked," a few here and there need some different techniques to take down (Last boss in Steam Vaults is a great example). But, every boss encounter in raids seem to require quite a bit of organization and coordination between everyone.  It's not too bad in a 10 man, but how bad does it get in the 25 man raids?  I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I think my only beef with Raids is how long they seem to be, then again looking at what is involved in Kara, that seems to be one of the longer ones. The New raid that came in 2.3, Zul'Aman seems to be dramatically shorter.  Which is a bit of a relief since our last Kara run, from start to finish (and killing Prince)  took about 5 hours!  And we only wiped 3 times.

So, here's to a smooth and relatively quick run tonight.  I sure do hope the tier 4 helm drops for me.
